Product description Cressi Agua Short Swimming Fins

AGUA SHORT has all Cressi-sub experience as producer of diving and apnea fins from 1946 in foot pocket anatomy, materials, design and production. All these processes are made 100% in the Genoa (Italy) Cressi-sub factory.

The basis Cressi-sub shoe tree dimensions are highlighted because it has always been evolving to adapt itself to morphologic variations that shoe habits have caused in the medium proportions of European foot (almost 20% in the last 30 years). For shops located at coastal line, the option of a short fin of great resistance is also especially interesting as help to travel and protection for light snorkeling, especially in rock areas. The fins’ structure places the foot pocket at medium height from the blade to make efficient the strength transmission, with a progressive and pleasant fluttering for the swimmer. However, it reduces the hydrodynamic resistance of the high part of the foot pocket. The sole has rigidity calculated to avoid cramps in that area. The back part of the foot pocket is thicker; it has reinforcement and a flap that facilitates the insertion. All the profiles that are in contact with the skin are round, for greater comfort. Agua short combines three different materials in its structure: Polypropylene for the blade and the sole area. This material highlights because of its great lightness and resistance to salt water, chlorine and ozone. It’s unalterable with the pass of time and it maintains its features due to its great resistance. It’s completely unbreakable, both by tension or torsion in any sense. Round reinforcement elastomer in the low profile of the blade. It avoids wear by erosion and protects other swimmers from occasional impacts. Very soft and comfortable elastomer (thermoplastic rubber). It’s applied in the high part of the foot pocket and the side nerves of stabilization of the fins during swimming. The instep incorporates in the center a 2 cm ´self adjusting´ wide band that allows a slight dilatation (2 to 4 mm depending on the size) to adapt to people with high instep. The dilatation has been carefully calibrated to avoid damaging the energy transmission.

They are my usual fins. For many years, I have only used Cressi. I know that every three years, more or less, I have to change them for new ones. Using them daily in the pool, I have not been able to extend them for longer. But despite this I will not change. They are soft, light, effective, comfortable, etc. In a word, efficient. Good quality/price. Recommended.

These are comfortable to wear. Maybe a bit long for swimming requiring more power to move them, but no big issue. What I don´t like is that the bottom is smooth and very slippery making it difficult to stand and walk in shallow water.

Good afternoon. I use them, they are very flexible and last a long time, they are worth it. In your case, I would better buy the 39/40, because with the other option they will end up coming out constantly. I have a 43 feet, and I have 43/44 fins and they come off as soon as I touch the cork with my heel when I swim laterally. All the best.

Hello, I think you can take 39-40, the fins fit well... unless of course you prefer to wear them with slippers (cold water, sensitive skin,...) in which case it is better I think to take the size above. I have several pairs of CRESSI fins and I always take my usual size.
