To develop this product, that has been tailored to the extreme needs and specificities of Swimrun, we used the experiences and ideas of several athletes who have raced multiple Otillo races.

The challenge was to find the correct balance between comfort, performance and durability. With the Land and Sea’s anti-rub panels between the legs and reinforced bottom area and the trademark Mako Ultra-stretch shoulders, we feel confident that our suit has what it takes to help you through the toughest of Swimrun races. Especially when taking into account the body and thigh panels that have been chosen to give balanced bouyancy whilst also keeping you nice and warm.

Added features also include full front and rear zips to give you multiple possibilities for the run legs of your race. These allow you to take off and put back on your suit in a blink of an eye or to just open the front or back for a little ventilation - the choice is yours ! You will find a large rear internal pocket for your nutrition and other necessary items.

We have choosen to make this model a short arm wetsuit. A pair of neo arm tubes are provided with each suit for full arm coverage during colder races. And also a whistle for security attached to the front zip pull.

- Thighs : 2mm Yamamoto #39 SCS neoprene (topof thighs and groin) and 3.5mm Yamamoto #39 SCS(bottom of thighs) + soft touch internal jersey for comfort
- Back and front panels : 3mm Yamamoto #39 metal SCS neoprene + soft touch internal jersey for comfort
- Bottom and rear thighs : 2mm Yamamoto #39 neoprene with tough jersey outer to protect your suit when sliding in and getting out of the water
- Pockets : 1 large rear
- Zips : Rear and front (full length)
- Ultra thin 0.5mm panel on the arm openings to avoid water entry on this short -armed wetsuit Whistle attached to the front zip pull


Technology:

- invisiZip : our invisible zip system allows our suits to have great hydrodynamics and also reduces water entry, keeping you warmer.
- SCS : this is a surface layer that both protects the neoprene and reduces drag through water.
- Low cut collar : our collars are cut extra low to avoid chaffing and any possibility of feeling strangled.
- Power Stretch: This highly elastic neoprene insert, that is positioned over the sternum and diaphragm, allows for liberated breathing as well as increased suppleness over the whole upper body.
- Balanced Buoyancy : the buoyancy has been placed in our wetsuits so as to facilitate your stroke by offering you the body position that is most suited to your swim technique. So in our range you will find wetsuits that have been designed to maintain you in a “Natural” position for those that prefer a neutral body placement (often good for those with a strong leg kick) and others that we have labelled “Extra support” for those that prefer to have a little extra hip and leg buoyancy (good for those with a weak/ lazy kick or for long-distance races.)
- MAX movement Shoulders : the cut and materials have been chosen to offer complete freedom of movement to the shoulders. From our very first patterns in 2008 we utilised a panel under the arms which was mounted to be “at rest” with a position of the arms above the head. This means that you never have to stretch the rubber as you reach to catch the water in front, thus not expending extra effort. The neoprene works for and not against you!
