SEA BUFF™ is a NEW, paste form pre-cleaner for use with new dive masks. Most brand new dive masks come with residual amount of mould release agents or other chemicals and coatings as a result of the manufacturing processes. These chemicals and coatings must be removed prior to the application of any mask de-fog agent like Sea Drops™. Aquaseal brand SEA BUFF has been specially formulated to remove these chemicals and coatings and to prepare the surface of the new dive mask for use with Sea Drops. 37 g.

Forget about burning the mask, this thing really cleans everything, cleared 2 masks, forgot about fogging the glasses, completely removed everything technical and invisible to the eye.

You no longer need to have a mask smelling of minty fresh toothpaste! Only a small amount is needed to remove all latex residues. Works without fault, and a bottle will last you for years.

Anti-fog use

Hello I have already washed my new mask several times with dishwashing liquid but there is always fog Can I use this product? Will it be effective or is it only used before the first use of the mask?

You can use it without any problem, it helps but in my different masks, in addition to applying and rubbing very well, I needed to burn the lens to get 100%

Most masks leave the factory with a thin layer of (protective) silicone on the glass, which needs to be removed by burning (with a lighter) or a product like this: I don´t think dishwashing soap would be sufficient to get it off. You shouldn´t have any problem with using it now: I´ve seen elsewhere where it has been used successfully by others who tried a different method first. You´ll know it´s working because you can actually feel the silicone dissolving when you work it in (it gets grainy, like sand). Note that you will still need to regularly use an anti-fog treatment of some kind.
