My pool is round, so I put the reel in the middle, does it swivel?

Yes of course. Mine is octagonal...you just need to put a support on the side when you rotate your roller, and that´s it. For me it is impeccable.

Swivel no or not really because if you want to put it away you have to remove it (tubular pool). On the other hand, we "unclip" it entirely and leave the base in place..
