I received a slightly different shaft than pictured, but actually, judging by the barcode, this is exactly what I need for the Predathor. This INOX version is much better than the galvanized one I got with the speargun.

I ordered a harpoon 900mmx8mm, and they sent 900mmx7mm. The harpoon is not hardened, it bends very easily, it sucks.

Ordering 50cm for try using with my old air gun Mares Jet 58, I was not sure it fits, but real tests in water showed this shaft is excellent for Mares, much better then old original shaft. Real length of Salvimar Stainless Steel Shaft for Vintair 8 mm size 50cm is not 50 but 55cm. It´s just a little bit longer then original, but has larger kinetic power and longer shot distance - I have checked at same gun and pressure. Real product differs from the photo - there is no steel spring. and plastic slide different. Real plastic Slide Line is like at the photo of this product: "Salvimar Air Tahitiana Pacific Single Barb 7.5 mm." Slide holes to tie the fishing line are quite small, requires line about 1mm, it was a little bit difficult to fix there my standard 1.5mm fin. But finally I am glad so much of this new shaft - shot became more silent and much accurate. And no backlash of shaft when charging - long plastic slide line keeps the axis much better.

Vintair Plus 85 uses 85cm 8mm shaft, I´m not sure there was a non Plus version of Vintair 85. You can check older pdfs from Salvimar website
